We've been using Windows 10 at HITS Computing for a little while now. We highly recommend it over WIndows 8 and Windows 8.1!
If you are using Windows 7, Vista or XP, we would be happy to give you an introduction to Windows 10 lesson to help ease you into it if you wish!
If you need any help with the upgrade, please be in contact!
Which is better?
Harry and HITS Computing has spent a lot of time testing!
One main difference between the two is that Amazon Fire TV stick has a remote control which comes with while the Chromecast does not. This would mean one extra remote added to your collection. Another difference is that the Chromecast is much easier to use on a smart phone/tablet than the Amazon Fire TV Stick. I also have a smartwatch (because I'm a geek) and with Chromecast, I can even pause/play media from my watch!
A Chromecast will cost around £30 while the Fire TV stick will cost around £35. Most of the apps you can use are the same however the Fire TV stick does have a slightly larger selection than the Chromecast from the apps we have wanted!
Both have the basics - Netflix, BBC iPlayer, Demand 5. YouTube and Plex! The Fire TV stick also have BBC News, Sky News, Amazon Instant Video and much more!
One massive advantage which the Chromecast has it is that you can cast your Google Chrome browser to your TV, meaning that anything you browse on the internet can appear on your TV if you would like!
To answer which is better, it will depend on what you are looking for and there is no simple answer. Both are amazing!
